Protocols and security measures Covid-19

We are working to ensure and provide the latest guidance and protocols on hygiene and cleanliness, proactively ensuring proper sanitation throughout the property and in all operational activities.
Our commitment is to offer our clients a safe place to visit and an unforgettable hospitality experience. We are also adapting our sustainable practices, to comply with all necessary protocols,
in accordance with our local health authorities. Here are our specific and rigorous steps to ensure the best possible experience and mitigate risks:

1. Our guests:
a. Greetings without contact, to practice physical distancing.
b. We minimize high physical contact areas and take extreme precautions when exchanging items between guests and staff (registration, room key, payments, services, etc.)
c. We have installed alcohol gel disinfection stations in public areas, as well as sinks and soap in strategic areas.
d. All luggage will be disinfected upon arrival.
and. Lodge information will be delivered in digital format to our guests (tour information, Lodge directory, spa services, etc.).


2. Our staff:
a. All staff will receive ongoing briefings and enhanced operational health protocols.
b. Your safety, health, and knowledge are essential to implementing effective cleanup measures. These measures include: hand hygiene with adequate and frequent hand washing, the use of masks, etc.
c. All staff and guests must maintain a distance of 6 feet (1.8 meters). When this is not possible, the use of protective equipment will be required.
d. We will maintain constant monitoring of the health of the general cleaning teams.
and. We have launched an internal protocol that regulates the use of masks, frequent and proactive temperature checks, and a disinfection process for all staff members who enter the work facilities.
We will be carefully and daily monitoring any symptoms related to COVID-19. If there is the slightest suspicion of the virus, he/she will be sent for the necessary tests immediately and the health protocol will be applied.
F. All personnel must respond and inform health officials, in case of doubt about the presence of symptoms of COVID-19, including guests and any other third party.


3. Public areas:
a. Use of cleaning products and specific protocols to clean and disinfect public areas, focusing on high-touch and high-traffic areas, such as counters and reception, door handles, public restrooms, and room keys, among others.
b. All deliveries are sanitized upon arrival.
c. The entire area and all pool facilities (showers, towels, etc.) will be disinfected and cleaned several times during use. Use will be limited to small groups, maintaining physical distancing at all times.


4. Bedrooms:
a. Implementation of strict cleaning and disinfection protocols to clean rooms, before guests arrive and after they leave.
b. All room amenities are deep cleaned for safe guest use (bathrooms, etc.)
c. We assure our guests that after cleaning and disinfecting the rooms, no one will enter or use the room.

5. Work areas:
a. In the spaces where our staff work, we have increased the cleaning frequency of all high-touch areas, such as the laundry, changing rooms, staff offices, etc.
b. We have updated our laundry protocols to meet CDC guidelines using recommended detergents and high temperatures.
c. All staff members have access to hand washing and sanitizing products, general disinfection, and protective equipment before performing their duties at the Lodge.
d. In accordance with CDC guidelines, superior cleaning products with a higher concentration of ingredients that kill bacteria and eliminate viruses are used throughout the facility.


6. Transport:
a. All transfers will be private and all drivers will wear protective gear.
b. All vehicles will be disinfected between each trip.
c. The vehicles will have alcohol in gel.


7. Restaurants:
a. All meals will be served a la carte, with a focus on the freshness of the food.
b. Safe food handling.
c. Culinary staff are being trained in food preparation and hygiene protocols are being reinforced.
d. The restaurant will space out tables to practice physical distancing.
and. Menus will be available in your rooms.
F. Meals will be served in open areas.
g. Tables and chairs will be disinfected after each use.


8. Activities and other services:
a. A briefing will be given to all guests with health and safety measures before each activity.
b. All tours and activities will be offered in a private format, when possible.
c. For small group activities, safe distancing between participants and staff will be implemented.
d. All equipment will be disinfected after each use.
and. External providers, tour operators and other service providers must comply with the hygiene standards of Eco Quechua Lodge.
F. The disinfection of high-touch surfaces, the use of masks and other measures will be implemented for any additional services required.
g. In the Spa, all instruments, towels and bedding will be disinfected after each use.
These health and safety measures will be regularly reviewed and updated to ensure our guests have the best possible experience.
